Graph of the flick is just racy as the bus-comedy sequence clicks where actor Satya leads the show. As the hero gets beaten by his father, scolded by Rao Ramesh and then he falls flat for heroine Avika, it’s all hilarious. Seems like he made ‘Cinema Choopista Maava’ to become a money spinner and sure it turns one.Īs the film opens with Rao Ramesh introducing his ‘quality’ paithyam and Raj Tarun’s massy doings, its just laughing everywhere. For 2 hours, he wants audience to just laugh, laugh and laugh. Nakkina Trinadha Rao has only one thing in mind. Emotional scenes got that depth due to dialogues, while comedy turned hilarious due to his short, crisp satires. His timing and rhyming clicks superbly with B & C centres. There is a sequence where there is no dialogue for at least 10 minutes and Sekhar Chandra killed it with amazing bgm.įor this otherwise routine story, Prasanna Bejawada’s dialogue are like a heart beat. Coming to background score, he just rocked it. Music director Sekhar Chandra’s album is not passable, at the same time we can’t rule the songs out. His camera work provided the required refreshing look for the flick.

The way he filmed couple of songs with just trick bulbs decorated around is pretty awesome. Sai Sriram has come up with nice visuals for this otherwise comedy film set in simple locations 80% of the time.

He made sure emotions never lose, graph never falls and all actors give their best, thought little exaggerated. That’s the strength of his film and his screenplay in deriving comedy worked out well. They are the backbone of the flick at each interval.ĭirector Trinadha Rao has got perfect setup in hand, with an engaging tight script that has ‘comedy’ written all over it from first frame to last frame. From Jabardasth batch to Swamy Ra Ra Satya, Praveen to Krishna Bhagavan, Melkote to Posani, everyone just nailed it with right punch and expressions. He pulls every single emotion flawlessly and his mere presence brings that grace, charm and elevation to all the scenes he’s present.Īll other actors are happening comedians who got just a scene or too but they have showcased their mettle. He is perfect as a caring father, a person who lives by quality. She looked nice in few scenes, but she’s putting on heavy weight which made her look little awkward in few times.Īnd the one who steals the complete show is Rao Ramesh. Unlike her debut film, here she is just like a standby character, though she’s the heroine of the film. Still he’s like a street-food that’s spicy and yummy, catering the tastes of typical Indian middle class.Īvika Gor splashed her cute and chubby look in almost all the frames of the film, but she isn’t given any substantial role to play. He tried to pull a little larger than life character, but looked underweight. Especially, slapping his friend like a Pawan Kalyan and handling fights like a superstar hero doesn't look convincing. Raj Tarun is superb in scenes that need fantastic comic timing, but he’s over the board many times as he tried unnecessary heroism. What happens there after is the rest of movie. To get rid off Kathhi, this quality man asks him to undergo a test for 30 days. Finally after impressing Parivarthana, Kathhi reveals the same to Somnath, aka Maava. After he showcases photo of his daughter Parivarthana (Avika Gor) to kathhi in a quarrel, the youngster falls flat for her.

From the start, Somnath encounters Kathhi in odd time and never likes him. Kathhi (Raj Tarun) is a below middle-class guy, a lazy student and uncultured brat, living in a slum where his father sells petrol illegally on roads. Somnath Chatterjee (Rao Ramesh) is a Bengali settled in Hyderabad, happens to be a government employee who lives ‘quality’ life by rules and standards. Trailer of the film looks rather promising for its comic content, so let us see what the film is all about. At the same time, director Nakkina Trinadha Rao is looking forward for big break as his past flicks like Mem Vayasuku Vachham made splash but haven’t established him as a big director. CInema Choopista Maava actually marks the return of Uyyala Jampala fame couple Raj Tarun and Avika Gor in unison.
